03 Jun Mumblegore
This week Kyle and Matthew continue the Radtober celebration with returning guests Alex Jacobs and D’arby Rose. They sit down on the NerdMelt stage to talk about the underground, low budget horror film movement known as “mumblegore.” The gang explores what defines a mumblegore movie and gives a brief history of the movement. They also explore the ways that horror movies reflect the culture of a specific era. They also list like a billion movies to check out. This episode makes a great epilogue to last week’s “History of Horror Movies” episode. Check out Alex and D’arby’s recent Channel 101 pilot “The Not Invited” and look out for a super sweet cameo from Kyle, Burnside and Producer Natalie!
