Country Music

Way down yonder on the Chattahoochee (or more accurately, on Gardner Street in West Hollywood), Kyle “The Colonel” Clark and Matthew “Achy Breaky” Burnside sit down to talk country music with Rivers Langley (“The Goods from the Woods” podcast, “Hush Money,” shot a man in Reno just to watch him die). Intertwined are tales of jam bands and the darndest things hippies say, the saddest songs ever written, and that dark period when country music met rapping. Also, drugs. And Rivers recounts his time as a college radio DJ. Yee haw! For a good time, check out the monthly show @Yellahammered, hosted by Rivers, Joe Raines and Wes Van Horn, which brings a little ‘Bama to the ‘Angeles. The next one is March 28th!
